General Definition of Associations
Blue
Blue is by far the most popular color, both with women and men. Blue is associated with a lot of positive qualities: sympathy, harmony, kindness, friendship. Blue is the color of distance, remoteness and infinity. Blue stands for confidence and reliability. Blue is calm and relaxing, green rather quiet and restful.
Red
"Red" really is the most ancient color name. It is the second most popular color, equally popular with women and men. Red comprises the associations "blood" and "fire".

Fire: Heat, warmth.
Red is a very near and dynamic color.
