Fannings

The fanning of a complementary contrast represents a special method in color design: As regards the 2-color harmony yellow/violet, yellow can be extended by the secondary colors of the yellow color family:

Color sequences are used on many web sites, on this one too: The text frame and the shadow have a color sequence. Such a color sequence is nothing else but a fanning:
